Interesting Cameron Carter-Vickers to Celtic claim made

Cameron Carter-Vickers has been quite a player for Celtic since arriving last summer on loan from Tottenham Hotspur. There were many question marks about whether the United States international was capable of solidifying what had been a leaky defence for the Hoops for a while. He has shown that not only is he capable but then some, and one could argue that he was the club’s player of the season.

Now though, his long-term future at Parkhead is up in the air. Celtic are believed to have an option to buy included in the loan deal, which is thought to be an initial £6 million transfer fee which could rise to £10 million with add-ons.

That is a big amount for Celtic and would make Carter-Vickers one of the most expensive signings in the history of the club. Thus, it remains to be seen if the Hoops push forward with the move although it is believed that they are interested in making the loan deal permanent.

As reported by GIVEMESPORT, speaking about the Carter-Vickers to Celtic situation, Michael Bridge said:

“I think that will happen, because he’s a player who’s been on loan to every other club, he’s never found his home. He’s had about 20 EFL loans, but he’s ended up winning the title with Celtic, so I think he’s found his home there.”

Interesting claim about potential Carter-Vickers to Celtic transfer

It is true that for the first time in his career, Carter-Vickers seemed to enjoy a bit of stability during his time at Celtic.

Before this, he had bounced around on loan from one Championship club to the other, spending time at six teams in the second division of English football over the years.

On the other hand, it does not look like he has much of a future at Tottenham Hotspur despite his impressive performances for the Hoops this season. His displays appear to have caught the eyes of other Premier League clubs though, which could make things more difficult for Celtic.

But recent rumours have suggested that they have agreed personal terms with Carter-Vickers, which would represent a huge boost for the club.
