Celtic have one massive worry against Ross County

Celtic suffered a major blow last weekend as they were beaten 2-1 at Hampden Park by the Rangers in the Scottish Cup semi-finals. It ended their dreams of doing a treble in Ange Postecoglou’s first season as the club’s manager and now, they will need to get their momentum back. Their next game is in the Premiership against Ross County, away at Victoria Park.

Celtic are currently leading the title race by six points with five games to go but we all know how quickly things can change in football. Thus, they cannot lose their focus for one second. The title is still very much up in the air and there is a lot of work left to be done.

The away trip to Ross County promises to be a very tricky one though. The two sides met there last December and back then, Celtic had to wait till the 97th minute for Anthony Ralston to crop up with a winner.

Incidentally, that is the last time that Ross County have lost at home this season. That run includes an incredible 3-3 draw against the Rangers. Thus, it is safe to say that Celtic will have their work cut out for themselves this weekend.

Celtic need to get a win over Ross County at Victoria Park

Celtic will know that they need to get all three points against Ross County. They might be leading the title race by six points but they still have a Glasgow Derby to play as well. And after how the Scottish Cup semi-final went, fans will be nervous going into that game.

Celtic got a convincing 4-0 win over Ross County the last time the two sides met at Parkhead, back in March. But The Staggies have looked like a different team at home.

It is safe to say that the Hoops are in a very good position in the Premiership but the destination of the title is far from a forgone conclusion.
