Stunning Scott Brown to Celtic return news emerges

Scott Brown’s storied Celtic career came to an end last summer, when he decided to leave the club in order to join Aberdeen in a player-coach role. It was pretty clear the the Scottish midfielder was looking to take his first steps in coaching and former teammate, Stephen Glass, who was the manager of The Dons at that point of time, provided a great opportunity to do that for Broony.

It is safe to say that things did not go Brown’s way during his time at the Pittodrie Stadium. Aberdeen have struggled massively this season and recently showed Glass the exit door.

Naturally, questions cropped up about Brown’s future as well and now, he has left Aberdeen with immediate effect, less than a year after joining the club.

As reported by The Scottish Sun, Celtic would be willing to create a pathway for Brown in coaching though and there could be an opening for him somewhere within in the senior academy and the B-team, with a view to progressing up the levels.

Celtic could give Brown chance to complete Parkhead return

It looks like there is a possibility that Brown could be offered a chance to complete a return to Celtic, in a coaching role.

But the question is, is he ready to call time on his playing career completely, especially under the circumstances that he departed Aberdeen.

Secondly, if Brown ended up joining a different Scottish club in a coaching role, there is a good possibility that he could start at a higher level than he would at Celtic.

Thus, it remains to be seen what the future holds for Brown. One thing that must be said though is that the general feeling is that sooner or later, he will be back at Celtic. Whether that is next step or not, only time shall tell.
