Real Madrid interested in signing former Celtic star

Celtic have made some brilliant signings since the appointment of Ange Postecoglou and should be delighted with the kind of players that they have been able to bring in over the course of the previous two transfer windows. It has resulted in the club taking a huge step forward in the right direction. They have already won the Scottish League Cup this season and are leading in the Premiership at the moment.

Thus, it would not come as a huge surprise if a number of these players end up getting big moves to the Premier League and beyond over the next several years.

Till now, Kieran Tierney remains the biggest transfer exit from Celtic, having left in the summer of 2019 for a transfer fee believed to be in the region of £25 million.

He has done a very good job at Arsenal since then and could potentially be on the move in the future as well. As reported by El Espanol, Real Madrid are closely following Tierney and appear to be interested in potentially bringing him to the Spanish capital in the future.

Former Celtic star linked with move to Real Madrid

While Tierney has had his ups and downs since joining Arsenal, there is no denying the fact that he has proven himself in the Premier League since his move to England and has been one of the Gunners’ standout players in recent times.

Still only 24 years of age, one would expect him to develop further as well and it is safe to say that the former Celtic star has tremendous potential, and can be one of the best left-backs in the future.

Thus, a transfer move to club like Real Madrid in the future should not be considered as a massive surprise. Also, Celtic are believed to have a sell-on clause involving Tierney, and thus, they are expected to have an eye on the situation.
