Celtic linked with three forwards ahead of January transfer window

Celtic could look to strengthen their squad up front in the upcoming January transfer window. At the moment, they have a brilliant striker in Kyogo Furuhashi. He has been absolutely brilliant ever since arriving from Vissel Kobe in the summer. But other than him, they do not seem to have too many consistent goalscorers within their ranks right now.

Giorgos Giakoumakis arrived in the summer with a lot of expectations, having topped the Eredivisie scoring charts last season. But at Parkhead, he has not got it going yet and has had his fair share of fitness issues as well.

On the other hand, Albian Ajeti has not been able to impress for Celtic after impressive start to life at Parkhead and could very well be on his way out of Parkhead in the near future.

They could do with more options on the wings as well, with there being question marks around the fitness of Mikey Johnston and James Forrest.

There are several players who have come from South Korea and thrived in European club football in recent times. And many believe that Song Min-kyu could be the next to do that.

He has already made quite a few appearances for the South Korean national team despite just turning 22 years of age not too long ago

During his time with Pohang Steelers, the youngster was absolutely brilliant and one of the best players in the K League. He has found things a bit tougher since joining Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors but has appeared to found his form in recent games.

Now, it remains to be seen if the Hoops do end up making a move for Min-kyu in the upcoming January transfer window.
