Celtic player gets green light to seal Parkhead exit in next few days

Several players have left Celtic on a permanent basis or on loan this season but it might not be over yet. A number of youngsters departed the club on loan last month. Liam Shaw joined Motherwell, Conor Hazard joined HJK Helsinki, Adam Montgomery joined Aberdeen, Osaze Urhoghide joined KV Oostende and there were a few more such temporary exits as well.

The club did not have as much success when it came to moving on some of the more senior players though. The likes of Albian Ajeti, Vasilis Barkas and a few others had been linked with moves away from the club in January afters struggling for playing time, but it did not happen.

But it looks like outgoings might not be over for the club yet, as Boli Bolingoli might still end up sealing a Parkhead exit this month.

As reported by Football Insider, Celtic have given the green light to Bolingoli to secure an exit and he is in talks with Russian Premier League side FC Ufa over a loan move.

Bolingoli given green light to seal Celtic exit

Bolingoli arrived at Celtic in the summer of 2019, as the man to replace Kieran Tierney at left-back, but it is safe to say that he has come nowhere close till now.

In fact, the Belgian has barely featured for the club in recent times and was out on loan at Istanbul Basaksehir last season.

Now, many believe that Bolingoli has not been given a fair shake in a while and deserves more chances. But at the moment, it does not feel like they are coming anytime soon, with both Greg Taylor and Liam Scales ahead of him in the pecking order.

Thus, a move away from Parkhead makes a lot of sense for Bolingoli. The Russian transfer window does not close until 22 February, thus, he has a few days to complete a loan move to FC Ufa, if things work out.
