Kyogo sends brilliant message before Celtic return

Kyogo Furuhashi has not made a single appearance for Celtic since December of last year. And it is incredible how well the club have done, without arguably their best player. There is no doubt though that they will be hoping to have the Japanese superstar back in the mix of things as soon as possible and fortunately, they won’t have to wait much longer as he looks set to make his return in the game against St Johnstone this weekend.

Kyogo had initially gotten injured in the final Europa League group stage game against Real Betis. Despite not being 100 per cent fit, he would score a brace against Hibernian to guide Celtic to the Scottish League Cup. He would end up reinjuring himself a week later though and has not played since.

But he has returned to training recently and Ange Postecoglou has confirmed that he will be involved against St Johnstone.

As reported by the Daily Record, the Celtic manager said about the situation:

“He’ll be involved tomorrow, 100 per cent he’ll be part of the squad.”

Kyogo sends message on social media before Celtic return

Kyogo himself is expected to be raring to go, after missing more than three months of action, including a couple of Glasgow Derbies. And he posted a picture of himself in training, on Twitter, with the caption simply reading ‘Ready’:

It is safe to say that the Celtic fans are more than ready to see Kyogo back in action as well. He is one of the most popular players in the club’s recent history and he has not even been at Parkhead for a year till now.

Kyogo has already shown that he is an incredible player, with his movement off the charts and he has a knack for scoring goals in big games as well.

Thus, even though Celtic have done well in his absence, they are expected to be a better side with him in it.
