Celtic have already signed Cameron Carter-Vickers on a permanent basis from Tottenham Hotspur and are believed to be closing in on a move for Jota as well. When or if that deal is over the line, the club will be in a tremendous position. At the same time though, technically, they would not have strengthened because both of them were on loan at Parkhead last season as well.

While Celtic have a very good squad, which won the Premiership and League Cup double in Ange Postecoglou’s first season in charge, they also need to bring in reinforcements in a few positions across the pitch. They have the Scottish crown to defend next season as well as Champions League group stage football after many years.

One such area, which needs improvement, is left-back. Greg Taylor did put in some excellent displays last season, but at the same time, competition is always good.

One player that they have been linked with heavily in recent times is Mohanad Jeahze of Hammarby. And while it looks like talks already progressed to an advanced stage, things have not gotten any further. As reported by GIVEMESPORT, Anthony Joseph said about the situation:

“They’ve already approached Mohanad Jeahze at Hammarby, and talks progressed to an advanced stage is what I was told.

“They haven’t gone any further yet, that doesn’t mean the deal is off the cards, it just means nothing has progressed any further.”

Jeahze currently plays in the Swedish top flight with Hammarby and has been one of the most impressive left-backs in that league.

He is certainly a player who can make his mark going forward and is one of the best amongst full-backs and wingers in the Allsvenskan in that department.

Thus, it is not hard to see why Celtic might be interested in signing him, especially considering the fact that he could be available for a transfer fee around €2 million, which could prove to be a major bargain in the long run for the Hoops.
