Fresh details about new contract Celtic will offer to Ange Postecoglou

Ange Postecoglou has done a better job in his first season as Celtic manager than anybody could have expected when he arrived, after a failed pursuit of Eddie Howe. The club looked set to undergo a transitional season after losing several of their key players and finishing trophyless and 25 points behind the Rangers in the previous campaign.

Over the previous two transfer windows, seventeen players have arrived at Celtic. Yet, Postecoglou has not only managed to rebuild the squad but guide them to significant success at the same time, winning the Scottish League Cup and Premiership double.

Thus, Celtic fans will be very excited about what is to come in the future, with this team much more settled now than it had been last season. They will be hoping that Postecoglou remains the man in the managerial hot seat for the foreseeable future and some exciting news broke regarding that last night.

As reported by the Daily Record, Celtic are set to hold new contract talks with Postecoglou as a reward for his double-winning debut season. Discussions are expected to take place over the next few weeks. And now, some more fresh details have emerged regarding the potential deal that they will be offering the manager.

Fresh details about new contract Celtic will offer to Postecoglou

As tweeted out by Ekrem Konur, Celtic want to give Postecoglou a contract until 2025. That suggests that they are looking to offer him a three-year deal.

That will definitely be a good length of time to offer to Postecoglou and hopefully, the club can come to terms with the manager soon.

They will have to undergo a bit of a overhaul in the summer itself, as it looks like they will be losing some key players in Tom Rogic and Nir Bitton, with a few more expected to join them out of the Parkhead exit door.
