Celtic should try to sign promising Real Madrid player

Ange Postecoglou has been absolutely sensational ever since arriving at Celtic in the summer. The magnitude of the task that he faced at Parkhead was incredible and he has done a brilliant job in such a short span of time. The club have already won the Scottish League Cup and sit at the top of the Premiership table right now as well, three points ahead of the Rangers. That is truly brilliant.

Not many managers in the world could have done what he has done at Celtic inside a year and it is arguable that he has never had his best XI available to him due to injuries. It will be interesting to see how good they can eventually turn out to be.

One of Postecoglou’s biggest strengths has been bringing in players who have made an impact on the first-team. Should the Hoops try to reunite him with another one of his former players after signing Daizen Maeda last month?

The player in question is Takefusa Kubo, who is at Real Madrid, but has spent most of his time out on loan. And recently, when suggested that Postecoglou should have an eye on him, journalist Dan Orlowitz tweeted out:

Celtic should try to sign Kubo and reunite him with Postecoglou

Kubo has been one of the most highly-rated youngsters at Real Madrid for a while now, but he has never managed to break into the first-team picture at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Instead, he has spent multiple loan spells away from the Spanish giants. At some places he has impressed, at some he has not. Right now, he is with Mallorca, where he is having a decent but not spectacular run.

Kubo is still just 20 years of age though and has a lot of potential. Thus, he could be helped by a spell at Celtic, even if on loan.
