Celtic will be in unfamiliar territory when they take on Dundee FC at Parkhead this weekend. The club suffered their first defeat since November in midweek when Bodo/Glimt completed outplayed them in the final third of the pitch and walked out of Parkhead with a 3-1 victory from the first leg of their UEFA Europa Conference League tie. As a result, the Hoops have a mountain to climb away in Norway if they are to even make things interesting.
But at the same time, they have the Premiership to think about as well, with the league being their primary concern at this point of time.
And there, their next big test will be Dundee FC. Celtic will not only need to win on this occasion but also bounce back after a difficult result in midweek.
It remains to be seen how things unfold, but the three points will be very vital for the Hoops, both for the title race as well as their confidence after a disappoint result and performance in midweek.
Celtic have three huge decisions to make vs Dundee FC
Celtic have three huge decisions to make in their upcoming Premiership game against Dundee FC, straight after their defeat at the hands of Bodo/Glimt:
Who will start in midfield – Tom Rogic or Matt O’Riley?
The big mistake that Ange Postecoglou appeared to make in midweek against Bodo/Glimt is that he started both Rogic and O’Riley at the same time.
It is safe to say that it did not work out nearly as well as the Celtic manage would have been hoping for.
Neither Rogic nor O’Riley had a great game and it also made it easier for Bodo/Glimt to hit Celtic on the counter attack. Thus, one would expect Reo Hatate to return to the line up when the club take on Dundee.
