Celtic player will return to squad against Dundee FC

Every league match is important for Celtic at this point of time as they look to maintain their lead at the top of the Premiership table. As things stand, they are a point ahead of the Rangers right now. But the stakes have been further raised for their upcoming game against Dundee FC this weekend, as the Hoops suffered a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Bodo/Glimt in the Europa Conference League in midweek.

Thus, it is safe to say that Ange Postecoglou’s side would be keen to bounce back from the result as soon as possible.

Dundee FC are struggling at this point of time but often, these games can prove to be very tricky. As a result, Celtic must be keen not to slip up.

As reported by Glasgow Live, Yosuke Ideguchi is available once again, when the club will welcome Dundee to Parkhead. He was ineligible for the UEFA Europa Conference League game against Bodo/Glimt, having not been listed in the European squad. It must also be pointed that the Japanese midfielder has missed significant action recently, having been injured last month in the Scottish Cup game against Alloa Athletic.

Ideguchi will be available for Celtic against Bodo/Glimt

Ideguchi’s start to life at Celtic has not been ideal to say the least. When he completed his move to Parkhead, he would not have envisioned it going this way.

But these are still early days for the Japanese star and there is plenty of time to turn things around. it must be said though that he has plenty of competition in the middle of the park at the moment.

Thus, one would not expect Ideguchi to be starting against Dundee FC. But an appearance off the bench is very possible, as he needs to get some minutes in order to find his rhythm and form in a Celtic shirt.
