Celtic star makes huge claim about win vs Rangers

Celtic find themselves back at the top of the Premiership table once again after a long, long time. And as luck would have it, they defeated the Rangers 3-0 at Parkhead to get to the top of the league table. Reo Hatate scored a brace on that day while Liel Abada got the third one, and it was the Hoops’ first Glasgow Derby win in a long time. It was a moment to remember to say the least.

Greg Taylor is someone who has been with Celtic for quite some time now. He had joined the club in the summer of 2019, when Kieran Tierney left the Hoops for Arsenal. And it is safe to say that their record against the Rangers has not been the greatest since then.

As a result, the win and performance against Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side was a massive boost for the club to say the least, and Celtic Park was rocking on that day.

While speaking to the club’s matchday programme, heading into their upcoming game against Bodo/Glimt, and as reported by Celtic’s official website, Taylor said:

“If you look at the recent game at home to Rangers, the atmosphere that night was the best I have ever experienced in my life and that is hopefully the type of atmosphere that we will feel tonight.”

Taylor makes big claim about recent Celtic vs Rangers game

It goes without saying that the recent game between Celtic and the Rangers might have possibly had a huge impact on the fate of the Premiership title this season.

It remains to be seen how things turn out over the coming weeks and months but for the time being, it is hard not to feel that the momentum is completely on Celtic’s side.

It must be said that the Rangers have bounced back nicely since that result and put up some big results of their own. But after seeing the manner of the Hoops dominance over the Rangers as a team, it is hard not to view them as the favourites.
