Joe Hart makes brilliant claim about Celtic vs Rangers

Celtic were nowhere near their best against Dundee United but their ability to grind out results under the management of Ange Postecoglou was on show once again. Liel Abada cropped up with a goal in the 90th minute of the game to hand the Hoops a 1-0 win and all three points. It also means that they have cut down the gap with the Rangers to just two points heading into the Glasgow Derby and will have the chance to go top on Wednesday.

Thus, it is safe to say that things are looking up for Celtic. And they must be confident of their chances going into the game against the Rangers, who drew 3-3 against Ross County on the same day, conceding in the 6th minute of stoppage time.

One would expect Celtic to go after all three points against the Rangers, when the two sides meet at Parkhead. And on current form, the Hoops are looking like the better side.

Joe Hart has given his take on the game. While speaking with Celtic TV and as reported by 67 Hail Hail, the goalkeeper said:

“It’s going to be a big night, I think everyone is pumped, everyone is excited. It’s our next game so we can actually focus on it.

“It’s one game, one game that we need to perform to the levels we set for ourselves that maybe we didn’t quite reach today, so that’s most important.”

Hart makes brilliant claim about upcoming Celtic vs Rangers match

It is great to see that not only are the team excited about the upcoming game against the Rangers but they also recognise that they must improve.

Celtic were nowhere near the top of their game when they came up against Dundee United today. And the goal from Abada was a happy ending to what had mostly been a mediocre performance from the Hoops.

Three points is all that matters at the moment though and Celtic got them all on this occasion. And they will be aiming to do the same on Wednesday as well. If they are able to, then they will return to the top of the Premiership table after a long, long time.
