Celtic Predicted XI vs Motherwell: Postecoglou’s big decisions

Ange Postecoglou will have some big decisions to make when Celtic face Motherwell in their next Scottish Premiership game, set to be played at Parkhead. The visitors sit at fourth in the table and will be looking to move further up. On the other hand, the Hoops sit at second, four points behind the Rangers and will want to get all three points in order to keep the pressure up on the Ibrox side.

Of course, that is easier said than done, especially with the number of injuries that Celtic have right now.

They have several important players missing at the moment, including arguably two of their best players this season in Jota and Kyogo, who appear to have hamstring injuries right now and could be out for a while.

The injuries could not have come at a worse possible time for Celtic. We are just a week away from the Scottish League Cup final against Hibernian, which will be Postecoglou’s first chance to win a trophy since joining the club in the summer. Then there is the Glasgow Derby at the turn of the year as well. And with how tight the title race looks, every league game is important for the Hoops right now.

Here’s how we think Ange Postecoglou could line Celtic up when they face Motherwell at Parkhead in their next Premiership game:

It was Scott Bain who started in goal in the recent game against Real Betis but expect Hart to be back between the posts when the Hoops do return to action against Motherwell.

The English goalkeeper has been absolutely brilliant since arriving at Parkhead in the summer and there is no question who the club’s first-choice between the posts is right now. Hart has not only done well with the gloves but he has also established himself as a leader.
