Celtic Glasgow Derby ticket situation for Rangers fans revealed

Earlier this season, Celtic fans were expected to be back at Ibrox after a long time and it is believed that tickets were even printed. But then, that did not turn out to be the case when the Hoops could not guarantee that Rangers fans would be at Parkhead for the return fixture due to the constantly changing pandemic situation at the moment.

Since then, there have been questions regarding whether the Rangers fans would be present at Celtic Park for the next Glasgow Derby. Fortunately, the pandemic situation has not worsened and fans are still allowed inside stadiums.

But it does not look like there will be fans of the Rangers at Parkhead when the two Glasgow giants meet each other next year on January 2 of 2022. And that is understandable considering how things unfolded last time around.

A Twitter user name Ginty1888, who asks questions for The Cynic, tweeted out regarding the situation after it was discussed in a Celtic Fan Forum held on October 28:

Celtic will need to win the next Glasgow Derby against the Rangers

Following Celtic’s recent run of form, it has become clear that the Premiership title race might be much closer this time around than most would have expected.

Celtic have looked like a tremendous side when they have had their best players available but considering the number of injury problems that they have had recently, that has not been the case often. On the other hand, the Rangers do not look in great form this time around and as a result, things could go down to the wire.

If that turns out to be the case then the results in the Glasgow Derbies could prove to be very vital come the end of the season. The Rangers have already won the first one of the campaign. Now, Celtic need to get their win back when the two sides meet at Parkhead.
