Speaking on The Go Radio Football Show, the experienced journalist has a rather interesting take on the St Johnstone star’s blatant kick out and attempted punch at the big Celtic defender that kind of left me speechless, “I don’t think, from the pictures that I watched, I don’t think Chris Kane tried to punch Cart Vickers. He’s put his hand on him. Of course yeah, he’s, that’s what he’s guilty of .

There’s a big difference between putting your hand on somebody and trying to punch somebody.

“I don’t think it was [a slap]. I think there’s contact there. But I don’t think so.

“You’re no want to see red cards in the game.

“And and I think if you want to look at other decisions in the game, I don’t know about you, but I don’t think it’s, with absolute certainty, that it’s penalty kick and I thought if you’re a referee, you need to be 100% certain.

“And I don’t think it’s conclusive, either way, that the tackle was inside the penalty box.”

Now I know everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but you can see from the highlights above, that Kyogo was definitely fouled in the box for the penalty.

And the Chris Kane incident? Well that has been done to death but how on earth you don’t think he tried to land one Carter Vickers is a strange take.
