Hibernian 1-3 Celtic: 3 things we learned as Angeball shines

Celtic are building up some serious momentum now. A few games back, this side had not won a game away from home in months. Now, they have won three on the trot, and that too against Aberdeen, Motherwell and Hibernian. Goals from Anthony Ralston, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Kyogo were enough to hand the Hoops a 3-1 win against the Hibs at Easter Road.

It is safe to say that this is a massive result for Ange Postecoglou’s side. They have now climbed up to second in the Scottish Premiership table. And the Rangers drawing against Aberdeen means that the gap between the two Glasgow sides is just two points now.

Not many would have expected that a few weeks back when the Hoops were struggling and questions were being asked about Postecoglou’s long-term future at Celtic.

The important thing now though will be to carry on with this momentum. The Hoops have done well over the past month or so but there is still a long way to go.

Ange Postecoglou’s start to life at Celtic has been mixed but his style of football is one of the reasons why he has already won the support of the fans.

And we saw glimpses of Angeball on display against Hibernian in the first-half. To be honest, the Hoops should have scored more than the three goals that they did. But they will definitely take the three points from Easter Road, a rare thing in recent times.

Celtic definitely turned on the style against Hibernian at times tonight and hopefully, as we progress through the season, this will become a much more regular sight.
