Football fans all over Europe react to UEFA’s incredible Jota tweet

The adulation for THAT goal still rumbles on.

Jota and Kyogo have caused a ruckus on social media with there incredible combination goal in Celtic’s 2-0 defeat of Ferncvaros on Tuesday night at Celtic Park.

The both of them have been lauded in all quarters of the media and Scottish football for Celtics opening goal and I have to say, I still can’t stop watching it.

And I don’t think this goal will be forgotten any time soon.

Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou labelled the goal “world class” in his post match interview, “It was a brilliant first goal and we could have had a few more afterwards.

“Pleased for the players, they got their rewards. We were really disciplined, played our football and it was good to see.

“(The first goal) was a world-class move. They ( Jota and Kyogo) are two talented players.

“I said at the weekend, we’re trying to play football that will suit those kind of guys and I think they appreciate that.”

UEFA seem to have a love in with the Hoops and especially Jota as this is the second time in a week that the Portuguese winger has featured in a tweet on their official Europa League account in so many weeks.

Quite simply, the tweet said, “Jota’s sensational assist, from every angle and on repeat Clockwise rightwards and leftwards open circle arrowsDrooling face @CelticFC | #UEL“

And it still just gets better with every watch. And it is not just Celtic fans that appreciate the class of the goal. Football fans from all clubs showed their appreciation for some true, genuine footballing genius:

“Finally CELTIC is doing something because they always hurt in these tournaments !!!!”

And then the Celtic fans took over…….

I am sure we will be hearing of this goal for a very long time.
